The Ultralife Float Switch will operate in both high-water and low-water applications. The design allows for simply turning over the barrel float to change how it performs. The switch can handle multiple pumps with a combined amperage draw of up to 10 amps. Each switch is equipped with a 6 ft grounded cord and and adjustable suction cup mount for the switch. They are excellent for water top offs or to prevent pump damage from sumps running dry.
The Float Switch comes standard set up for low water application. To change to high water application remove plastic retaining clip on end of shaft, take the barrel off and re-insert it upside down. Replace the retaining clip.
Mount the Float Switch in your sump with supplied suction cup, then fine tune desired water level by sliding the reed within the suction cup. Do not fully sumberge the reed, the wires coming out of the top are not water proof. Mount the black junction box out of the sump safely above water
